PRE-K REGISTRATION AT PHILADELPHIA
Philadelphia Elementary School Pre-Kindergarten Registration is from April 17 to April 21.
Philadelphia Elementary School Kindergarten registration is from April 24 to April 28.
The Fair City Chorale will present a spring concert titled "I Hear America Singing" on Saturday evening, April 29 at 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church.
The concert will feature classical music by American composers such as Randall Thompson, Michael John Trotta and David Childs along with arrangements of American folk songs and African American spirituals.
Joining the choir will be renowned tenor soloist John-Christopher Adams from Jackson, trombonist Paul Gamble, and percussionist David Young.
The choir is directed by Kevin Flannagan and accompanied by Carol Fiedler. Admission is free but donations will be accepted at the door to further the work of The Fair City Chorale.
A reception to celebrate the Chorale's first year of existence will follow the concert in the church's Fellowship Hall.
Tucker Cemetery Meeting Scheduled
The Tucker Cemetery Committee invites all who have an interest in Tucker Cemetery in Kemper County to a meeting at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 23 on the grounds of Tucker Community Church.

GUEST SPEAKER AT LIBRARY
In honor of older American month in May, the Neshoba County Library at 230 west Beacon St. will have a scheduled guest speaker. The topic is “Living a healthy life as we age” by Ruth Sanders, RN.

BOYS & GIRLS CLUB HAMBURGER PLATE FUNDRAISER
The Boys and Girls Club will host a hamburger plate fundraiser on Friday, April 21 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $7 each and can be picked up at Neshoba County Public Library.

HYSSONG IN CONCERT
Hyssong will be in concert Sunday, April 23 at 6 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church, 2380 Salem Road, Lake.
Dell, Susan and Richard Hyssong travel full-time as the award winning “Hyssong.”
Their energetic ministry combines family vocal harmony, humor and brass instruments to delight audiences with their Christ-centered message, shared through the powerful medium of music. Homecoming at Bond Baptist Church
Bond Baptist Church will have a homecoming celebration on Sunday, April 30.
The service will begin at 11 a.m. and a fellowship meal will immediately follow the worship service. There will be gospel music after the fellowship meal. Bond Baptist Church is located on Highway 21 north.
SUNDAY NIGHT SINGING
High Hill Baptist Church wil have a Sunday night singing April 23 at 6 p.m. featuring Uncle Pug's Blue Grass Band. The church address is 10021 Road 206, Pastor is Bro. Don Cook and music leader Bro. Mike Barker.
LEARNING BIBLICAL HEBREW

TABERNACLE CHURCH OF GOD REVIVAL
Tabernacle Church of God will have its spring revival Monday through Wednesday, April 17-19, at 7 p.m. nightly. The church is located 1110 Luke Road, Preston. April 30 is the Fifth Sunday Unity Service.
God's Closet will be open Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon during April to complete customer shopping for the last quarter of the 2016-2017 school year. It will be closed this Saturday, April 15 for Easter.
There will be no shopping in May or June this school year, so be sure to shop for your items in April. It will be open for donations only in May each Tuesday from 9 a.m. to noon.
The Neshoba Central High School Class of 1972 will have its 45th reunion on Saturday, June 3 at 6 p.m. at Hardy Heater Manufacturing Center on 12345 Road 505, Philadelphia. The cost will be $25 a person.

Broadmoor Baptist Church, 5312 Highway 39 north, Meridian, will have one of Southern Gospel Music’s most prolific songwriters, Jeff Steele and The Steeles on Monday, May 8 at 6:30 p.m.
Steel and his family have traveled all over the country singing in churches and major concert halls.
They have also been featured on several of the Gaither Videos. Their song, “On The Road To Emmaus,” was recorded by the Gaither Vocal Band on the their latest CD. A two-day ServSafe Food Safety Certification class will be held in Philadelphia in the Neshoba County Coliseum multi-purpose room on May 10 and 11. Registration deadline for the class is April 14.

CHUNN FAMILY REUNION

Benefit for Johnny Watkins
A benefit will be held for Johnny Watkins, on Saturday April 29 at Beatline Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, beginning at 1 p.m., with $8 plates including a hamburger, baked beans, potato salad, dessert and a drink. Plates will be served beginning at 1 p.m. until.

HOMECOMING AT REMUS
Remus Baptist Church Homecoming will be April 23 at 10:30 a.m. There will be no Sunday school. Preaching will be Bro. Randall Creel and worship will be lead by The Cuomo Sisters.
THE DYSLEXIA AWARENESS GROUP PRESENTS "YOUR IEP"
Ms. Gloria Echols will be the guest speaker for the Dyslexia Awareness Group. She is an expert in Individual Education Plans and will cover IEPs in detail for parents and teachers prior to IEP season in the public schools.
This is vital for parents of children in exceptional education or special education, and for teachers of those children; whether in the general or special education classroom, members said.
They will also discuss 504 plans along with plans for future meetings.
The meeting will be held at First United Methodist Church at 563 east Main St. on Monday April 24 from 6:30 until 8 p.m.
