July 27 wedding ceremony

Tamara Ann McPhail and Joel Kirkland McKee were united in marriage on July 27, 2013. The ceremony was held at Pelahatchie Baptist Church in Pelahatchie with the Rev. Perry Pugh officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl McPhail of Pelahatchie. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Rainer and Ms. JoAnna McPhail and the late Mr. Tom McPhail all of Pelahatchie.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Todd McKee of Philadelphia. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Wilton Parnell of Scooba, MS and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. McKee of Philadelphia.
The bride, escorted by her father, wore a slim, ivory, A-line Mori Lee gown embellished with crystal beading draped with a detachable belt. The gown was highlighted by an intricate organza lace overlay and was completed with a breathtaking cathedral length train. The gown featured an alluring open back that was finished with ivory covered buttons over zipper closure. She carried a bouquet of wildflowers, wrapped in white ribbon and accented with a broach belonging to the groom's grandmother.
Serving as matron of honor was Marissa Buchanan. Serving as maid of honor was Meredith McKee.
Bridesmaids were Marlee Williams, Shelby Bowen, Paige Judge, Lindsey Bishop and Anna Alexander.
Attending as the best man was the groom's father, Todd McKee. Groomsmen were Caleb McKee, brother of the groom, Tyler Woods, Hunter Stovall, Austin Buchanan, John Blount, and Terrell Brantley.
Following a honeymoon to Jamaica, the couple resides in Starkville.
