Ken and Juliet Griffin are pleased to announce the upcoming wedding of their daughter LaJoya Keana Griffin, to Ansley Stewart Hudson, son of Ms. Regina Hudson and Mr. Harvin and Mrs. Mattie Hudson.

LaJoya is a 2011 graduate of Philadelphia High School and a 2016 graduate of Mississippi State University where she earned her B.S. in Elementary Education. She is a second grade teacher at Longleaf Elementary School in Hattiesburg, MS. Currently, LaJoya is pursuing a master’s degree in School Counseling and Guidance at The University of Southern Mississippi.

Ansley is a 2007 graduate of Neshoba Central High School and a 2011 graduate of Alcorn State University where he earned a B.S. degree in Agriculture Economics. He is currently employed at Sanderson Farm as a broiler supervisor. 

Reverend Willie Rush of Philadelphia will unite this couple on November 10, 2018 at The Bottling Company in Hattiesburg, MS. Along LaJoya’s side will be her sister, Candace Griffin of Philadelphia, MS, as her Maid of Honor and Ansley’s sister, Keshia Sanders of Brandon, MS, as her Matron of Honor. The bridesmaids are: Cache Boler, Rashada Boler, Christina Gates, Andrienne Peeler, Lashundra Rush, Alicia Townsend, and Hillary Williams of Philadelphia, MS and Elizabeth Hampton of Forest, MS. Ansley’s best men are Cameron Gates of Philadelphia, MS and Freddie Parham of Pearland, TX. He will also have the following men as his groomsmen: Ken Griffin and Tyson Griffin of Philadelphia, MS, Nicholas Jones, Ranardo Brass, and Douglas O’Harroll of Hattiesburg, MS, Jeremy Holmes of Covington, LA,  Damion Fletcher of San Diego, CA, Anthony Gray of Sugarland, TX. The Junior bridesmaid and groomsman are LaJoya’s niece and nephew, Gabriella Hernadez and Brysen Griffin. The flower girl is Ansley’s Goddaughter, Cayleigh Gates, and LaJoya’s cousin, Ahmiaz Griffin, will be the ring bearer. 

The future bride and groom are excited to share this beautiful day with their family and friends. After a honeymoon to San Lucas, Mexico, the newlyweds will reside in Hattiesburg, MS.
