The congregation of Jerusalem Temple Church was so thankful to attend an indoor worship service on Sunday, June 27.  Everyone wore masks and practiced social distancing according to the guidelines recommended by the CDC.

Following the worships service, the pastor and congregation were served a lunch-to-go for the families. From several comments, the food was delicious, including a luscious blueberry dessert by Sister Peg.

A birthday trip to The Grand Hotel in Point Clear, Alabama, was a surprise gift to Meredith Nowell Boston from her parents, Sam and June Nowell.  Meredith and June celebrated their birthdays together this year since they are one day apart, June's on June 26, and Meredith's on June 27.

It was Meredith's 40th birthday which was a special one so her parents wanted to make it one to remember. The Grand Hotel is one of the Nowell's favorite places, but Meredith had never been, so they decided to do this for their birthdays this year.  Sam did not go, but he sent his credit card along!

June and Meredith enjoyed the lovely surroundings, the spa, and the wonderful restaurants in the town.  It is such a charming place to visit.   What a thoughtful gift from such loving parents!
