Fortenberry, Cassel to recite vows in July

Thomas and Pam Fortenberry of Union are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Amanda Ann Fortenberry, to James Merrill CasselII, son of Merrill and Amy Cassel of Union.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jerome and Jo Ann Copeland of Philadelphia, Imogene Burton of Philadelphia and the late J.D. Fortenberry of Philadelphia.
Miss Fortenberry is a 2007 honor graduate of Union High School. She received her bachelor's of arts degree from Mississippi College in 2011 and her master's degree from Mississippi College in 2012.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Bill and Melvya Cassel and Doyle and Dot McGee, all of Union.
Mr. Cassel is a 2008 graduate of Union High School. He received his associate's degree from East Central Community College in 2010 and his bachelor's of science degree from the University of Mississippi in 2012.
The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, July 6, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. at Hope Baptist Church with a reception to follow. All friends and family are invited to attend through the medium of the press.
