The GFWC-MFWC Philadelphia Woman's Club held their February monthly meeting on Valentine's Day in the beautifully decorated home of Mrs. Faye Moore. President Pat Mioton welcomed members and guests after calling the meeting to order.

Stacy Cook led the Pledge of Allegiance following Gail Coat's Invocation.

Hostesses for the meeting were Faye Moore, Barbara Thaggard, Virginia Kight, and Jean Marshall.

A delicious buffet luncheon catered by Amy Vandevender of Amy's place, was served on lovely tables of fine crystal and china. Brightly festive colors of red, white, and pink dominated the scene.

June Anderson and pianist Faye Moore presented the program. They led the members and guests in more than a few beautiful songs.

Members and guests present were: June Anderson, Gail Coats, Stacy Cook, Ayla, Liz Goldman, Sybil James, Virginia Kight, Jean Marshall, Jo Beth McGilbra, Sarah McKay, Jeanette McNeil, Pat Mioton, Faye Moore, Rosanell Phillips, Clara Reynolds, Phyllus Robinson, Sue Saxon, Barbara Thaggard, Gwen Newman, and Jackie Johnson.

Stacy gave a very informative report of her meeting with the GFWC-MFWC State Board of which she is a member. She and Ayla will attend the State Convention in Raymond on the 27th of April.

Statewide emphasis is on recognizing veterns of the past as well as the present. Ayla will also participate in the Reading Program at the Neshoba County Library in June-- "Reading with Ayla."

Plans were made to attend the District meeting to be held at Lake Tiak-O'Khata. The club will help host the meeting to be held in March.

President Pat Mioton adjourned the meeting until March 14th. The ladies will visit Linda Crawford's Gallery for their program and will have lunch at the Dancing Rabbit Club House.
