Services for Wilma Lee Ward were held Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mike Carr officiating. Burial followed in Sandtown Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Ward, 85, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, at Neshoba County General Hospital.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County and had made her home at Atwood Personal Care Home for the past three years. She was a homemaker all of her life.

Mrs. Ward was a member of East Philadelphia Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Madonna Goldman and her husband, Wayne of Philadelphia and Sheila Morgan of Philadelphia; son, Larry Ward of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Stephanie Peebles, Mandy Bryant, Marlo Beason, Richie Goldman, Justin Ward, and Jeremy Morgan; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by her husband, Marla Ward; parents, Jessie and Bessie Sigrest; daughter-in-law, Wanda Ward; and sister, Elizabeth Massey.

Pallbearers were Justin Ward, Mark Peebles, Richie Goldman, Marc Bryant, Jeremy Morgan, and Shelby Beason.
