Services for Mrs. Willie B. Davidson were held 10:30 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at Pine Grove Pentecostal Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Mark Copeland, the Rev. Kenneth Rockco and the Rev. Randall Dunaway officiated.
Milling Funeral Home of Sebastopol is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Davidson, 83, of Sebastopol, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at Neshoba General Alzheimer's Unit.
Mrs. Willie B. Davidson was a member of Pine Grove Pentecostal Church, having received the Holy Ghost and Baptized, in Jesus' name, over 60 years ago. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, reading, and cooking. Her life revolved around God, church, family and friends. Her family will remember Mrs. Willie B.'s favorite verse: "Eat, drink, and be merry for tomorrow we may die." Ecc. 8:15
Mrs. Davidson's last message to her children was that she loved them all the same.
Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, Eugene Davidson of Sebastopol; four daughters, Shelby Benson and husband Dewayne of Philadelphia, Robbie McDonald and husband Danny of Conehatta, Kathy Hillman and husband Ricky of Conehatta and Rita Kennedy and husband Guy; two brothers, Cecil Watkins of Union and Odell Watkins of Pascagoula; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Davidson is preceded in death by her parents, Jenny and Betty Watkins; one son, Glen Davidson; and one brother, Jim Watkins.
Pallbearers were Brandon Hillman, Chad Benson, Ryan Kennedy, Blake McDonald, Brad McDonald, Chancley Hillman, Greg Davidson and Tommy Watkins
Honorary pallbearers were Floyd Bozeman, Steven Adcock, J.T. Herrington, and Clay Barber.
