Services for Thelma K. Dove Belk were held Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel.
The Rev. Billy Guess officiated. Burial followed in Wheatfield Cemetery in Neshoba County. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Belk, 83, of Union, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at The Specialty Hospital of Meridian.
She was a native and lifelong resident of the Wheatfield community in Neshoba County. She was a longtime poultry-cattle farmer. Mrs. Belk was a member of Wheatfield Congregational Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Marilyn Goss of Union; son, Freddie G. Belk of Union; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and brother, Paul "Top" Dove of Union.
Mrs. Belk was preceded in death by her husband, Chester G. Belk and parents, John and Annie Dove.
Pallbearers were Johnny Goss, Jimmy Goss, Wallace Moody, Bill Carter, John Allen Dove and Kenny Belk.
