Services for Ruby Tucker were held Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at 3 p.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel.
The Rev. Dan Howard officiated. Burial followed in Cedarlawn Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Tucker, 85, of Philadelphia, died Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, at Neshoba County Nursing Home.
She was a native of the Laurel Hill community in Neshoba County and a longtime Philadelphia resident. She formerly worked at Wells Lamont in Philadelphia. Mrs. Tucker was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Dwight Tucker of Philadelphia; one grandson and one great-granddaughter.
Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by her husbands, Gordon Rhodes and Johnny Tucker; a granddaughter; parents, Grady and Estelle Shackelford; two brothers and two sisters.
Pallbearers were Jerry Hardy, Greg Nowell, James Houston Madison, Max Loper, Willie Jackson and Eric Tucker.
