Services for Robert Neese, Jr. were held Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Sullivan and Sister Clara Moore officiating. Burial followed in Fellowship Cemetery in Neshoba County.

McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Neese, 41, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at his home.

He was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County. He was employed as a truck driver for B&G Wood Products. He was serving as fire chief for Hope Fire Department, was a rescue diver and a member of Southeast Regional Response Team. Mr. Neese was Baptist by faith.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa Anderson Neese of Philadelphia; daughters, Tiffany Neese Vaughn (Austin), Brittany Neese (Camron McDaniel) and Robin Neese, all of Philadelphia; sisters, Jodie Neese Skinner of Union, Linda Rogers Bryan of Philadelphia, Virginia Rogers Drake of Philadelphia, Clara Neese Moore of Edinburg, Charlotte Neese Thompson of Philadelphia and Carol Neese Kilpatrick of Philadelphia; and brothers, John David Rogers of Philadelphia and Robert Skelton Neese of Oxford.

Mr. Neese was preceded in death by his parents, Robert S. Neese, Sr. and Druesillar Rogers Neese; sister, Chessie Neese Stovall; maternal grandparents, Dave and Lena Mae Sims; and paternal grandparents, Arthur and Ellie Jane Neese.

Pallbearers were Shannon Skinner, Chad Grantham, Bradley Broome, Scott Graham, Billy Adcock, Amanda Pinter, Clifford McDaniel and Jonathan Spears.

Honorary pallbearers were all Neshoba County Firefighters and Board Members, EMS and Law Enforcement Personnel.
