Services for Robert D. Beckham were held Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at 1 p.m. from Sisson Funeral Home.

The Rev. Timothy Lambert officiated. Burial followed in McClure Cemetery with military honors.

Mr. Beckham, 94, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Caretel Inns of Linden following a brief illness with his family at his side.

He was a veteran of WW II surviving in the Army. He was retired from General Motors Flint- Metal Fab Plant. He was a devoted member of the Secord Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon for many years.

Survivors include wife, Bertha; children, Robert W. Beckham, Michael D. Beckham and David A. Beckham; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

He was predeceased by his parents, John M. and Viola E. Beckham; four brothers; and one sister.
