Services for Peggy Musgrove were held Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Duvall and Rev. Kyle Routzhan officiating. Burial followed in Cedarlawn Cemetery with McClain-Hays Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Musgrove, 81, died Monday, July 8, 2013, at Neshoba County General Hospital.
She was a native of Neshoba County and a longtime Philadelphia resident. She had formerly worked as a physician's assistant for Dr. Charles Moore in the 60's and 70's. She worked for 31 years for Bank of Philadelphia/NBC/Cadence Bank as teller, in operations and as phone receptionist. Mrs. Musgrove was a charter member of East Philadelphia Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Danny (Janie) Musgrove of Carthage; grandchildren, Jennifer (Mich) McAdory of Noxapater and Blaine (Ashley) Musgrove of Edinburg; great-grandchildren, Carsen, Aubrey, and Mollie McAdory, Lakin and Christian Musgrove; sister, Nell Luke of Columbus; several nieces, nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Musgrove; parents, Bill and Mollie McNeece; sons, David Michael and Billy Joe Musgrove.
Pallbearers were Bunkie Smith, Wade White, Brock Phillips, Terry Smith, Terry Robertson and Jerry Weaver.
