Services for Paul E. Parker were held Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, at 2 p.m. from John E. Stephens Chapel.

The Rev. Johnny Ainsworth officiated. Interment was in East Lawn Cemetery. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Parker, 88, died Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.

He was a WWII Navy Veteran and also served in the Army in Korea. He was a body and fender repairman. Mr. Parker was a mason.

Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his wives, Elsie Parker and Bobbie Parker; son, Johnny Wayne Parker; brothers, T.F. Parker and Billy Parker; and sisters, Helen Ainsworth and Mary Burt.

Survivors include daughters, Ann Skaggs and Sheila Weaver; sons, Robert E. Parker, Donnie Parker and Mike Parker; sister, Mildred McCullem; brothers, David Parker and Jimmy Parker; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
