Services for Joey Stovall were held Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at 3:30 p.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel.
The Rev. Scott Engle officiated. Burial followed in Spanish Oak Cemetery in DeKalb.
Mr. Stovall, 48, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, in Neshoba County.
He was a lifelong resident of the Calico community in Kemper County. He formerly worked as a plumber/electrician. He had also worked as an assistant football coach for pee wee and high school at Kemper Academy. He served as a volunteer firefighter with Damascus Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Stovall was Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Stovall of DeKalb; daughter, Sacia Lingerfelt of Cordova, Tenn.; sons, Tyler Stovall of DeKalb and Dylan Williamson of DeKalb; three granddaughters; and sisters, Tammy Thrash of Scooba and Jennifer Davis of DeKalb.
Mr. Stovall was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Bobbie Stovall and sister, Lori Ann Stovall.
