Graveside services for James R. "Jim" Clark were held Saturday, June 14, 2014, at 2 p.m. from Clarks Chapel Cemetery in DeKalb.

The Rev. Chris Gully officiated. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Clark, 90, of Preston, died Friday, June 13, 2014, at John C. Stennis Memorial Hospital in DeKalb.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was retired from Scott Paper Company in Mobile, Ala. Mr. Clark was a member of Clarks Chapel United Methodist Church in DeKalb.

Survivors include one sister, Doris Creekmore of Preston; and one brother, Malcolm Clark of Philadelphia.

Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his father and mother, Claiborne and Ethel Clark; sisters, Annie L. Molpus and Veda Creekmore; and brother, Oliver C. Clark.
