Homer L. (Ted) Fulton, 81, of Preston, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Regency Hospital of Meridian.

He was a native of the Preston community in Kemper County and a longtime resident of Miami, Florida before moving back to Kemper County in the early 90's. Mr. Fulton was a retired U.S. Marine Corps veteran and served in Vietnam. He worked as a postal carrier in Miami, Florida until his retirement. Mr. Fulton was a member of the VFW and was Methodist by faith.

Survivors include his wife, Ramona Fulton of Preston; daughter, Debbie Fulton Fernandez of Columbia, S.C.; sons, Terry L. Fulton of Miami, Fla. and Santiago Daniel Fulton of Greeley, Colo.; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Ruby Jackson of Forrest City, Ark. and brother, Prentiss Fulton of Smyrna, Tenn.
