Services for Gerald Mabry were held Thursday, May 22, 2014, at 11 a.m. from Antioch Baptist Church.

Burial followed in Antioch Cemetery with McClain-Hays Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Mabry, 78, died Monday, May 19, 2014, at Bedford Care Center in Marion.

A native of Newton County and a longtime resident of the Antioch community of Neshoba County, he retired from Maintenance at Anderson Hospital. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Survivors include wife, Bonnie Butler Mabry; daughter, Chris Woods; sons, Bryan Mabry and Jerry Mabry; two grandsons; stepsons, Chuck Butler, Dewayne Butler and David Butler; seven step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Sylvia Bishop, Dale Brown and Teresa Buster; and brothers, Ken Mabry, Wayne Mabry, Slick Mabry, Steve Mabry and Willie Joe Pierce.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Willie Mae Pierce; stepdad, Morris Pierce; father, J. D. Mabry, stepmother, Nancy Mabry and brother, Don Mabry.
