Services for Danny Estes were held Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at 1 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel.
Burial followed in Mars Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Estes, 55, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Baptist Medical Center.
He was born in Coos Bay, Ore., and was a resident of Pascagoula before moving to Newton County in 1995. He formerly worked at Ingalls Shipbuilding, he later worked as a poultry farmer and at La-Z-Boy in Newton, and then as a truck driver. He was a master craftsman in wood and metal. Mr. Estes was a Christian.
Survivors include his wife, Teri Estes; daughters, Melinda Faith Anderson, Melissa Grace Kimmel and Tiffany Hope Anderson; four grandchildren; father, Eugene Estes; mother, Janet Holden; brothers, Chris Estes and Eugene Estes; and sisters, Penny Herrington, Kim Snellgrove, Laura Valentine and Sandy Estes.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Arnold Holden; brothers, Timothy Holden and Scott Estes.
