Services for Curtis Thompson were held Friday, April 5, 2013, at 10 a.m. from Bogue Chitto Baptist Church.

Burial followed in the Church Cemetery. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Thompson, 67, died Monday, April 1, 2013, in Kemper County.

Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his parents, John Hunter Thompson and Bonnie Amos Thompson; sisters, Nora Hickman, Ida Mae Brown and Homer Dean Thompson; brothers, Nathan Thompson and infant Jack Thompson.

Survivors include daughters, Martina Thompson and Elisha Amos; sons, Jay Curtis Thompson and Truette Thompson; brother, Bobo Thompson; and seven grandchildren.
