Services for Mrs. Connie Dean Gardner Cleveland were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013, at First Baptist Church Union with burial in the Union City Cemetery. The Rev. Bobby Barfoot, Dr. Jon Martin and Rev. Rusty Walton officiated.

Mrs. Cleveland, 93, of Union, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, at Laird Hospital.

She was a member of First Baptist Church where she taught preschool Sunday School class for many years. She was a member of the Union Home and Garden Club and an active supporter of Union Band Booster.

She loved her flower garden, camping and feeding her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include daughter; Cindy Lowery and husband Glenn of Ocean Springs; sons, Bobby Cleveland and wife Denise of Union, Ricky Cleveland and wife Regina of Union and Harold Cleveland and wife Diann of Union; eight grandchildren, Dustin Lowery, Brittany Lowery, Kimberly Lowery, Aubrie Cleveland Howell and husband Luke, Deann Cleveland, Tim Cleveland, Paul Cleveland and wife Jessica and Brit Cleveland and wife Amanda; four great-grandchildren, Britli Cleveland, Abigail Cleveland, Jacob Howell, Annley Howell and one on the way; brothers, Leon Gardner and Ralph Gardner; and sisters, Willie Maude Cleveland and Bobbie Jean Cleveland.

Mrs. Cleveland was preceded in death by her husband, Ancle Cleveland.

Pallbearers were Larry Driskell, Maxie Savell, Donny Cleveland, Mike Hathorn, Buddy Gardner, Terrell Winstead and Robert Blount.

Honorary Pallbearers were Tim Cleveland, Paul Cleveland, Brit Cleveland and Dustin Lowery.
