Services for Cecil Estes Wyatt were held Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Dan Howard officiating. Burial followed in Cedarlawn Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Wyatt, 88, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, at Atwood Personal Care Home in Philadelphia.

She was born in Meridian and reared in Philadelphia. She lived in Houston, Texas, for many years before retiring and returning to Philadelphia, where she made her home. Ms. Wyatt was a member of First United Methodist Church in Philadelphia.

Survivors include her brother, Everett Estes and his wife, Mildred of Philadelphia; nephew, Jay Stribling of Jackson; great-nephew, Bruce Stribling of Flowood; great-niece, Jessie Robinson of Horn Lake; and great-great-niece, Josephine Stribling of Flowood.

Pallbearers were Bruce Stribling, Larry Stribling, Larry Mills, David Moody, Don Windham, Don Fulton and Rex Rounsaville.
