Buford Jay Adcock

Buford Jay Adcock was born Feb. 19, 1930, in Four Corners, Winston County and passed away Monday, March 3, 2014, in Pasadena, Texas.
Buford Jay Adcock was 84 years and 12 days old at the time of his Heavenly Homecoming. He was an active member of the Apostolic Temple of Pasadena, Texas for the past thirteen years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He has been a licensed minister with the United Pentecostal Church International since 1966 and established a Home Missions church in Jackson in 1976.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George E. Adcock (1984) and Ethel Capps Adcock (1991); and his identical twin brother, Rupard Ray Adcock (January 3, 2014).
He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Stout Adcock of 43 years, his three sons Larry Wells, Mike Wells of Arizona and Kenneth Wells of Colorado. He is also survived by his daughters, Diana Graham (John J Graham) of San Angelo, Texas and Sharron Reid (Donald W Reid) of Frisco, Texas; his sister Faye Adcock Todd of Houston, Texas; twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Family received friends from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Apostolic Temple in Pasadena, Texas, with the funeral services at 7 p.m. Graveside service was held at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens in San Angelo, Texas.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers that all memorials be made to Apostolic Temple of 2630 Allen Genoa Rd., Pasadena, TX 77502 in his memory.
