Services for Billy Thrash were held Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013, at 4 p.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel.
The Rev. Howell Thrash and the Rev. Danny Chaney officiated. Burial followed in Mt. Olive Cemetery in the Stephenstown community of Neshoba County. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Thrash, 72, of Sebastopol, died Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, at Baptist Medical Center-Leake in Carthage.
He was a native and longtime resident of the Sebastopol area. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Thrash was Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Nola Thrash of Sebastopol; sisters, Bobbie Jo Gibson, Dorothy Clark, and Charlotte Ann Abel, all of Sebastopol; brother, Charles Cecil Thrash of Sebastopol.
Mr. Thrash was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Lurline Thrash.
Pallbearers were Tyrone McBeath, Bobby Ishee, Randy Peoples, Howard Holland, Ronnie Anthony, Al Easom, Michael Barnett, Larry Killens, Casey Wilkerson, Melvin Creekmore and Edward Willis.
