Services for Arcola Browning Alexander were held Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randall Dunaway and the Rev. Shane Freeman officiating. Burial followed in Henry's Chapel Cemetery in Neshoba County.

McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Alexander, 88, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Neshoba County General Hospital.

She was a native of Neshoba County and a longtime resident of the Fork community.

Mrs. Alexander was a member of New Zion United Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include her husband, W.M. Alexander of Philadelphia; daughters, Jan Roberson (William) of Philadelphia, Carolyn Anderson of Philadelphia, Linda Seal of Meridian and Pat Lovern (Lyvone) of Philadelphia; step-daughters, Rachel Warren (Ray) of Philadelphia and Regina Fortenberry (John Pat) of Philadelphia; step-son, Tilton Alexander of Sheridan, Ark.; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Mrs. Alexander was preceded in death by her first husband, A.J. Browning; parents, Victor and Molly Rushing; four sisters and four brothers.
