Services for Aletha A. Mott were held Sunday, April 6, 2014, at 3 p.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel.

The Rev. Stan Weatherford officiated. Burial followed in Cedarlawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Mott, 68, died Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at her residence.

She was a native of Philadelphia and a resident of Leroy, Ala. She was a retired secretary/bookkeeper in the paint, glass and building supply business.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Reese Mott, Sr. of Leroy, Ala.; sons, Reese Mott, II of Gulfport, David Mott of Villa Rica, Ga. and Jamie P. Mott of Caledonia; nine grandchildren; and sisters, Frances Weatherford of Meridian and Betty Pearce of Steamboat Springs, Colo.

Pallbearers were Ronnie Anderson, Randal Anderson, Johni Osborne, Adam Osborne, Jimmy Anderson and Rod McDonald.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Kidney Foundation.
