A woman is being sought by police in connection with a multiple stabbing, which occurred over the weekend at a gathering place on Atkins Street commonly known as "Curlee's," the authorities said.
Jessica McWilliams, 42, of 408 Barham St., was taken by ambulance to the emergency room at the county hospital after she was stabbed three times in the head with an unknown object, Police Investigator Fredesz Moore said.
A woman is being sought in connection with the stabbing, which occurred at 2:37 a.m. Sunday.
Moore said the suspect, which he did not identify, initially got into an altercation with another woman inside Curlee's.
"There was a fight inside of Curlee's that ended," Moore said. "When the girl came out, she and McWilliams got into a fight and McWilliams was stabbed three times."
A judge was expected to issue a warrant for the woman's arrest on Tuesday, Moore said.
McWilliams was treated and later released from Neshoba County General Hospital.
