A Philadelphia woman faces a felony drug charge after sheriff's deputies searched her mobile home in the Dixon community and seized over 4 grams of methamphetamine.

Kelly Cockerham, 31, of 10340 Road 129, was charged with possession of methamphetamine after deputies found 4 to 5 grams under a mattress in the master bedroom and in her vehicle parked behind her mobile home, the authorities said.

Officers executed a warrant to search her residence at 10:40 p.m. Thursday.

"We had received information that there was methamphetamine in the trailer being used and being sold," Investigator Ralph Sciple said. "During the search we found a large amount of meth in the trailer and in a vehicle."

Cockerham was arrested without incident.

"Four of her young children there at the time of the arrest were turned over to their grandmother," Sciple said.
