The 2014 fund drive of the United Way of Neshoba County is under way. Our mission is to create a culture of giving, advocating and volunteering. Our goal for 2014 is $50,000.
Funds collected during the annual drive go to nineteen of our local agencies that directly affect our citizens. That means that 100% of the funds raised are allocated to local agencies supported by the United Way of Neshoba County.
Mississippi is the most charitable state in the nation and Neshoba County is no exception. Year after year our citizens have given generously to United Way and we hope that you will continue to support this worthy organization. Donations may also be made in honor or in memory of a loved one.
Communicating United Way's impact in our community can be difficult to achieve. Campaign season, however, provides a terrific opportunity to walk the talk, and make sure that our focus in on improving community conditions through education, income and health. Yes, we raise money, but to what end? To improve community conditions.
