Two people were charged in connection with multiple burglaries at Cook's Chapel in the Forestdale community.
Stacie Lynn Miles, 30, of 2339 Vardaman Road, DeKalb, was charged with four counts of burglary of a church while Edward Shane Clark, 38, of 13770 Road 610, was charged with three counts burglary of a church, the Sheriff's reports states.
Sheriff's Investigator Grant Myers said that the two are accused of burglarizing the church over the past several months.
Taken from the church were a number of tents used during the Race for Grace Triathlon, CD players, an electronic control panel and household and food items.
"Entry was made through the doorways," Myers said.
The arrests were made after a lead led investigators to recovering one of the stolen tents.
"The woman was selling the tents," Myers said.
Both Miles and Clark remain in the Neshoba County Jail on $80,000 and $60,000 bonds, respectively.
The Sheriff Department is also offering a reward for any information regarding a pair of burglaries.
A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the break-in at the house on Mississippi 16 west behind the Pow Wow.
Another reward is being offered for information on the burglary at Tolbert Enterprises last week.
