Two administrators have been appointed acting superintendent of the Philadelphia Public School District in the wake of an investigation into a personnel matter involving Dr. Terry Larabee, the current superintendent.

"We have directed our board attorney to investigate a personnel matter and report the findings back to us as soon as possible," School Board President Ron Sparnecht said.

"We have appointed Christie Rowcliff, special education director, and Lee Ann Fulton, curriculum director, to share in the administrative duties of acting superintendent of the district until further notice."
