A man has been arrested in connection with an ATV theft in the Sandtown community in February.

Kevin Greer, 29, of 12081 Highway 482, was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property.

Neshoba County Sheriff Tommy Waddell said that a Kawasaki side-by-side was reported stolen from a residence off of County Road 756 on Feb. 27.

He said that a deputy out on a routine call observed an ATV that had been recently painted at Greer’s residence. He then notified investigators who identified it as the vehicle stolen in February. Waddell said a machete was recovered from the vehicle with Greer’s name engraved on it.

Waddell said that Greer remains in the Neshoba County Jail.
