We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

It was a blessing just to be alive and to be with family again.

Pray for family members as they return to their homes this week.

Also pray for those who will be traveling to attend funerals for loved ones.

Minister Orenthal Moore was the guest speaker Sunday at the Mount Ary Baptist Church.

Members were spiritually uplifted by his message.

Several relatives came in support of him.

A special "I Want To Be Where You Are" was sung by his wife Marlo Moore.

Minister Moore is the son of Therman and Sylvia Moore.

The couple now reside in Fairburn, Ga.

Bro. C. White brought the message Sunday at Stallo United Methodist Church.

His scripture was I Corinthians 12:27.

Members seemed very impressed by his message.

Donnie Long came to be in worship service with longtime friends.

Our condolences are being offered to the family of Oliver Lyons Jr.

Also to the family of Paul Bates who passed away recently in California.

Paul was the grandson of the late Lenord Moore Welch.

Remember all bereaved families in your prayers.

Congratulations go out to Mr. and Mrs. Lemonyne Young on their 50th wedding anniversary celebration.

Their renewal of vows were held on Saturday, Nov. 30 at the Mount Pleasant #2 Baptist Church in Winston County.

The Rev. Curtis Johnson officiated.

A reception was held at the Mount Ary Family Life Center.

We wish them many more happy years together.

Happy birthday wishes go out to Wayne Haskins whose birthday will be Dec. 5.

Happy birthday wishes go out to Alice Perryman on Dec. 6, to Shelia Greer and Undeon Hardy on Dec. 8 and to Stacie Collins on Dec. 10.

Continue in prayer for all sick and shut-ins. There are many who need our prayers.
