Pastor Bennie Hopkins brought an encouraging message on Sunday at the Mount Ary Baptist Church. His message was entitled, "Don't Give Up, Don't Give In, Help Is On the Way". His scripture was Phillipians 3:13-14. The young adult choir of Mount Ary accompanied him with a spirit-filled song service.

Members stated that Bro. C. White was back at Stallo United United Methodist with another wonderful message. His scripture text was Matthew 5:19-20. His wife Catrina accompanied him.

The Mount Talley Baptist church will have their Homecoming service this Sunday beginning at 10 a.m. Their annual summer revival will begin on Monday night, Aug. 30. The Rev. Dr. Benjamin Pittman, pastor of the Moriah Baptist church of Louisville will be the evangelist for the week. The public is invited to these services which will begin at 10 p.m. nightly. The Rev. Lavoid Kelly is the church pastor.

The Rev. Charles Griffin will be preaching during a three-night revival service, Aug. 26-28 at the Lake Grove Baptist church in Louisville. Services will begin at 7:30 p.m. Rev. Lee M. Talley is the pastor at Lake Grove.

Continue in prayer for Jerry Barnett, Wesley Floore, Gazell and others who are sick or shut-in. There are many who are recuperating.

Several residents of the community attended Homecoming service at Mount Zion Baptist church of Moscow. Among those were Mr. and Mrs. Posey Sherrod, Billie Carter, Bernice Floore and Charlsie Moore. They had a glorious time. Visitors in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Posey Sherrod over the weekend were her sister and husband, Ruby and Willie Dunn and their daughter-in-law, Evangelist Nettie Dunn, all from Cleveland, Ohio.

The Rev. Bennie Hoskins will be preaching this Sunday during an anniversary celebration for the Rev. Stanley Coleman at the New Cannan Baptist church of Meridian. The program will begin at 3 p.m.
