Pastor Bennie Hopkins brought another spirit filled message on Sunday at the Mt. Ary Baptist Church.
His scripture was Revelation 1:9-10.
Members were very spiritually uplifted by his message.
The adult choir of Mt. Ary Baptist Church accompanied him.
Bro. C. White brought the message Sunday at the Stallo United Methodist Church.
His scripture was Matthew 3:16-17.
Members were spiritually blessed by his message.
A Christ Alive Crusade, sponsored annually by several churches in the Mount Olive District, is in session this week at the following churches: Tuesday night the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church of Noxapater, Wednesday night, the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church of Louisville and Thursday night the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church of Louisville.
The Crusade will climax on Friday at the Mt. Ary Baptist Church in the Stallo community.
Service will begin each night at 7 p.m.
The public is invited.
The Mt. Ary Baptist Church will have its second Wedding of Roses Scholarship Pageant on Sunday, Feb. 10 at 5 p.m.
Mrs. Mary Hopkins is the pageant coordinator.

Pastor Bennie Hopkins will be the guest speaker during a pastoral anniversary celebration for the Rev. Wayne Ben at the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Preston on Sunday, Feb. 17 at 3 p.m.
The family of the late Georgia Culberson, also the family of the late Thurmond Gene Burnside, would like to thank their many relatives and friends for their many acts of kindness shown during the death of their love ones.
They ask that we continue to lift them up in our prayers.

There are several throughout the community who have been shut-in with colds and other illnesses.

Mr. Odie Kelly and his aunt, Mrs. Claudine Carter, attended the funeral of his brother, Lafun Kelly, in Saganuw, Mich. recently.
