Two individuals were arrested on separate felony drug charges last week.

A Leake County man, Micah Stewart, 29, 3493 Jordan Street, Carthage, was arrested Thursday and charged with felony possession of marijuana.

According to Neshoba County Sheriff Tommy Waddell, deputies responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle in the Bond community off of Road 759.

When deputies arrived, they observed the strong odor of marijuana coming from Stewart and the vehicle. Deputies later located several buds of what Waddell called high-grade marijuana in a small draw-string bag.
