Two juveniles are in custody in connection with the break-in and vandalism of a Philadelphia business.

Police are withholding the names of the accused because of their age, but both juveniles have been charged with one count of commercial burglary and one count of malicious mischief.

Philadelphia Police Investigator Bobby Pattillo said that they received a report of a break-in at Centerpoint Energy the morning of July 25.

He said employees of the Range Avenue office discovered the break-in when they arrived at work on Thursday.

Patillo said two buildings on the property were broken into. Items were taken and used to vandalize the property.

“Because it is a Youth Court case we cannot release many details,’ Pattillo said.

Pattillo Said investigators were called to the scene and led to a second site where the juveniles were identified and taken into custody. The case has been referred to Youth Court.
