JANUARY BIBLE STUDY
Neshoba Baptist Church of Union well be having their January Bible Study taught by Dr. Kevin Meadors the Jan. 12 -15 at 6:30 each evening. He will be teaching the book of Colossians.
Benefit at bibleway Apostolic Church

A candlelight prayer vigil commemorating the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade abortion decision will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18 at the Neshoba County Courthouse.

Mars Hill Outreach Ministry will be open Saturday, Jan. 18 from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. All first time applicants must bring i.d., proof of income (stubs for all household members) and proof of residency (utility bills, etc.). There will be a singing held at New Pleasantdale Baptist Church on Sunday, Jan. 19 at 6 p.m. featuring Billy Hodges of Tenn. All are welcomed to come and worship.
JANUARY BIBLE STUDY
New Year's Revival services will be held at Mars Hill Church of God in Christ, Tuesday-Thursday, Jan. 21-23. Services will begin nightly at 7:30 p.m. The revivalist is National Prayer Warrior President of the Church of God in Christ, Evangelist Frances Kelley of Memphis, Tenn. Singing at Cedar Hill

Baseball travel team tryouts

Please join the members of Old Mars Hill Church family as they welcome back their pastor, Rev. Richard Lonoia Burks with a fundraiser event on Sat. Jan. 25 at Old Mars Hill Church Family Life Center.
Dinner will consist of stew and pulled pork and will begin serving at 4 p.m. with an auction to follow at 6 p.m.
Proceeds go to our pastor to aid in his recovery from a stroke.

computer classes, basic automotive class and sewing design class offered at Philadelphia-neshoba county career-tech center
Registration is now open for 8-week CEU classes at the Career-Tech (formerly Vo-Tech) Center. Potential classes offered: Intro to computer, Technology for Teachers, Microsoft Office '13, Basic Automotive and Sewing Design. Other classes may be offered if enough students are interested.
Any class offered must have a minimum number registered for the class to make. The cost of 25-hour class (2.5 CEUs) is $100 due at registration.
You may register Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. or Friday from 7:30 am until 3 p.m. until classes fill or begin. Classes will start later in January 2014. For more information, call 601-656-8544.
Calling all seniors to come out on Thursday nights at 5 p.m. for some bingo fun at the Northside Park Senior Citizens building. There is only a $2 admission. Refreshments will be served. This is for ages 55 and up!

LIBRARY PRESCHOOL STORY TIME
The Neshoba County Public Library will have preschool story time every Wednesday at 10 a.m. Kids are invited to come listen to a story each week followed by a craft. For more information call 601-656-4911.
