A book is being compiled on the history of Oneness Pentecostals in Neshoba County. Churches include Macedonia, North Bend, Chisolm College and others.

The One Way Quartet will be in concert at Coldwater Baptist Church on Jan. 4 at 6 p.m. A love offering will be taken.

LIBRARY PRESCHOOL STORY TIME
The Neshoba County Public Library will have preschool story time every Wednesday at 10 a.m. Kids are invited to come listen to a story each week followed by a craft. For more information call 601-656-4911.
Senior Dance Club
The Senior Dance Club will have a New Year's Eve dance from 8 p.m. to midnight in the old Longino school building. The cover charge is $12 for singles and $20 for couples.
A homemade breakfast will be served at midnight. music will be by Sam and the Sundowners.
Sta-Home Volunteer Program
Would you like to help make a difference in the Philadelphia community?
Sta-Home has a wonderful volunteer program and we are looking for dedicated and motivated volunteers in this area to help us in patients' homes and in our offices.
We need volunteers in administrative work, in-home care and bereavement visits.
New Year's Singing at High Hill Baptist Church
Come sing your new year in at High Hill Baptist Church, Neshoba County with a watch night service Dec. 31 at 7:30 p.m. featuring 2nd Mile, Glory Bound Quartet and High Glory Quartet.
Brother Don Cook serves as the pastor and Mike Barker serves as the music director.
The monthly meeting of the Central MS Chapter 1251 of NARFE (National Active and Retired Federal Employees) will not be held Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014.

Big New Year's Eve Gospel Singing
A New Year's Eve Gospel Singing will be held at First Baptist Church of Pearl on Tuesday Dec. 31 at 7 p.m. The church is located on 405 North Bierdeman Road in Pearl.
The singing will feature four local and regional groups. Admission is free and a love offering will be taken.

Selection for Neshoba County's Miss Hospitality 2014 will begin soon.
This scholarship program represents Neshoba County and competes at the state level for title of Mississippi's Miss Hospitality.

A family member is searching for descendants of William Nance, born in Kemper County Miss., in 1875, and Mollie Nance Litchfield, born in Kemper County in 1864.
They were children of Richard Davner Nance Sr. and Mary Jane Mayo Nance.
They were brother and sister to my grandmother, Rebecca Jane (Dinkie) Nance Ferguson. Any information will be welcome.
