North Calvary Revival

North Calvary Baptist Church will have revival services on Nov. 10-13. The services on Sunday, Nov. 10 will be at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.

A potluck lunch will follow the Sunday morning service. Services Monday through Friday will be at 12 noon and will include a sandwich and chips lunch and at 7 p.m. Bro. Hubert Yates will be the speaker and Karen Cumberland will be in charge of the music.

PHS Class of 1983 Reunion

The PHS Class of 1983 will celebrate their 30th reunion Friday, Nov. 1. We are trying to locate and contact some of our classmates and teachers. East Neshoba Fire Department will sponsor a trail ride on Nov. 9 at Sunset Arena beginning at 10 a.m.

The cost is $5 per person and kids six and under ride free. Stew will be served after the ride. Everyone welcome to bring wagon, horse, mule or donkey and stay Friday night.

The ride will leave the arena, located just off Highway 16 east in Philadelphia, take Highway 491 north and then to three miles and turn left on county Road 2645.

The Neshoba County School District November and December regularly scheduled school board meetings have been changed to Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 5 p.m. and Thursday, Dec. 12 at 5 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors Board Room.

Holiday Marketplace

First Church of God, located 435 Columbus Ave., will sponsor a Holiday Marketplace featuring unique arts and crafts, gift items Saturday, Dec. 7 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Family Life Center.

ECCC Gospel Choir to Perform Nov. 13

The East Central Community College Gospel Choir will hold its annual fall concert at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13 in the Vickers Fine Arts Center Auditorium on the Decatur campus. There is no charge for admission and the public is invited to attend. Jerry Smith, vice chairman of the ECCC Board of Trustees, will serve guest speaker. Neshoba County School District regularly scheduled 60 percent days, Dec. 20 and May 22. A ll students will be dismissed at 11:35 a.m.

Stew Supper

On Nov. 2 Grace Baptist Church will be having a stew supper and singing from 5:30-until. All you can eat stew (for dine-in only) will be $8. Gallon portions are available for $25. Fall Revival
