Boys & Girls Club
The Boys and Girls Club of Neshoba County is now accepting membership applications for the 2013 Summer Camp. Interested applicants must be between the ages of 6-14 years old. Camp is June 3 through July 26 from the time of 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Our program will consist of physical fitness, educational/ academic enhancements, arts and crafts, educational field trips, and sports clinics. Summer Reading Donations Needed
The Neshoba County Public Library is seeking donations for its upcoming summer reading program. Needed items include, but are not limited to, small toys and new or gently used stuffed animals. Donations may be dropped off Monday-Friday during library hours.
Coldwater Cemetery Meeting
The annual Coldwater Cemetery meeting will be held Saturday, June 8 at 2 p.m. at Coldwater Baptist Church. Anyone who owns a plot or has family buried in the cemetery is invited to attend.
Homecoming at Coldwater Baptist Church
Homecoming at Coldwater Baptist Church will be held on Sunday, June 9 beginning at 10:30 a.m. The speaker will be Bro. Mike Ragland, former pastor. Tim and Andrea Moore will be in charge of the music. A potluck dinner will follow. Choir practice will be held Saturday, June 8 at 5 p.m.
Neshoba County Youth Football and Cheer
Neshoba County Youth Football and Cheer is offering an early bird special. Registration of $50 instead of $65. Registration will be held every Saturday at 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. unless weather conditions occur. It will be held at the old soccer field. Beginning now until June 31. New Bethel 60th Anniversary
New Bethel Baptist Church will be celebrating its 60th anniversary homecoming on Sunday, May 26. Friends, family and former members are invited to celebrate six decades of the Lord's work done at this church. Beginning June 3-7, 2013, 7:00 p.m. nightly, Shield of Faith Ministries will be starting their fifth year spring revival. God's Closet, located in the Valley View Shopping Center, is a ministry of the women of First United Methodist Church. God's Closet has been developed to help provide uniforms and clothing at no cost to school children in Philadelphia and Neshoba County.
If you have uniforms or other clothes that your children have outgrown that are in good condition, please drop them off at our location each Saturday morning between 9 a.m. and 12.
