Class of 1973 Reunion
The Philadelphia High School Class of 1973 will be having their 40th reunion, the weekend of Oct. 18-20 (PHS 2013 Homecoming). A community benefit for the Covington Family at Fairview Volunteer Fire Department will be held at Highway 21 south on Saturday, May 18 beginning at 11 a.m. BBQ chicken plates will be available from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Gospel singing, cake walk and an auction will be held at 6 p.m. Ricky is a cancer patient and his wife, Kathy, is disabled. First Baptist Church of Union will have a fundraiser to fund the Boy Scouts program. All funds raised by this event will go to fund the local scouting program. Chicken plates will be sold and an auction will be held on May 18 from 5-7 p.m. It will be eat in or take out. You can bid on donated items. Adult plates are $7. Children plates are $5. Boys & Girls Club
The Boys and Girls Club of Neshoba County is now accepting membership applications for the 2013 Summer Camp. Interested applicants must be between the ages of 6-14 years old. Camp is June 3- July 26 from the time of 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Our program will consist of physical fitness, educational/ academic enhancements, arts & crafts, educational field trips, and sports clinics. Summer Reading Donations Needed
The Neshoba County Public Library is seeking donations for its upcoming summer reading program. Needed items include, but are not limited to, small toys and new or gently used stuffed animals. Donations may be dropped off Monday-Friday during library hours.
Former Members, Friends and the general public are invited to North Bend United Methodist Church's annual Homecoming Worship Celebration. This year's Worship Celebration will begin at 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 19. United Methodist Church Meridian District Rev. Billy Owen will be the featured evangelist. As District Superintendent, Rev. The annual Coldwater Cemetery meeting will be held Saturday, June 8 at 2 p.m. at Coldwater Baptist Church. Anyone who owns a plot or has family buried in the cemetery is invited to attend.

Neshoba County Youth Football and Cheer
Neshoba County Youth Football and Cheer is offering an early bird special. Registration of $50 instead of $65. Registration will be held every Saturday at 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. unless weather conditions occur. It will be held at the old soccer field. Beginning now until June 31. New Bethel 60th Anniversary
New Bethel Baptist Church will be celebrating its 60th anniversary homecoming on Sunday, May 26. Friends, family and former members are invited to celebrate six decades of the Lord's work done at this church. Covington Family Community Benefit
