The Neshoba Central High School Class of 1963 will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a class reunion on May 11 at the Senior Citizens Building at Northside Park. Bloomo High School Reunion
Bloomo High School Reunion will be Saturday, April 15 at Ocobla Baptist Family Life Center on Highway 16 East from 12 noon until 3 p.m. All students and teachers are invited.
Pre-K Program Registration
The Neshoba County School District Pre-Kindergarten Program is located the at the Neshoba Count Parent Resource Center Building at Valley View. If you wish for your 4-year old child to be tested for the pre-K program, come to the Parent Resource Center for registration from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m on May 1-15. It is not necessary for your child to be present on the day of registration. If all registration materials are presented, an appointment will be assigned for your child to be screened for placement. Fulmer's Homsteaders Gathering and Horsedrawn Auction on Friday and Saturday, April 19 and 20 at 510B Wingate Road in Richton. Come join us at Fulmer's Farmstead as we bring together a community of homesteaders to share experience and knowledge. Friday will be filled with free workshops, such as Healthy choices from an Amish Kitchen, Family Cow, Canning Class, Natural Cleaning Products, Natural Horsemenship, and Russell Draft Horse workshop. Activities will begin Friday night at 7 p.m. and continue on Saturday at 10 a.m. Auction items will be available for viewing starting Wednesday, April 17. A.A. Winstead Family Reunion
A.A. Winstead Family Reunion will be on Saturday, April 13 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Union in the Fellowship Hall. Come and bring food for noon meal and fellowship.

Friends of Neshoba County Library Book Sale
The friends of the Neshoba County Public Library will hold the annual used Book Sale, Monday-Friday, April 15-19. The sale will be in the Neshoba County Public Library at 230 West Beacon Street in Philadelphia. Book Sale hours are as follows: Monday-Thursday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and from 8 to 3 p.m. on Friday. The Junior Auxiliary of Philadelphia is holding a book drive in memory of Ann Marie Graham. "Read for Ann Marie" will start on April 1 and continue through April 26. On April 29, the day after Ann Marie's birthday, the books will be distributed to our local headstart and daycares based on number of books collected. Please drop off books at the following locations: The Citizen's Bank, Cadence Bank, Regions Bank, Commercial Bank, Merchant's and Farmers Bank, and Gipson Cleaner's. Monetary donations can be turned into any Junior Auxiliary Member.
Adult Softball League
The Philadelphia Sportsman Club will again sponsor the men and women's softbal league at Westside Park. Starting date is May 20. The entry fee of $150 per team and must be paid by May 6. Neshoba Baptist Church of Union will be having their spring revival April 21 through 25. Brother Leroy Hassier will be the evangelist and music will be provided by Steve and Becky Carver. Relay for Life Golf Tournament
There will be a three-person scramble on April 25 at Dancing Rabbit Golf Course. Sign in begins at 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Shot gun start at 1 p.m. $100 registration per person. Instruction in "Introduction to Computers: Learn How To Setup, Edit, & Format Documents" is being offered at East Central Community College's Integrated Technologies Training Center in Choctaw. Instruction in MIG, TIG, stick, and gas welding is being offered at the East Central Community College Productivity Enhancement Lab located at the Philadelphia/Neshoba County Career-Technical Center. Classes will begin on Monday, April 22, from 6 to 9 p.m. and will be held for eight consecutive weeks. Joseph Irby will serve as instructor. Cost of the class is $150.
