Calling all senior citizens ages 60 and up. Come join us every Tuesday at 5 p.m. for a fun night of bingo and a chance to win great prizes. This event will be held at the Senior Citizens Building located at Northside Park. There will be a $2 entry fee and refreshments will be served. So come out and have some bingo fun.
Center Hill Cemetery
Funds are needed for grass cutting at Center Hill Baptist Cemetery. If you have family laid to rest here, please consider donations to support the grass cutting.
The Philadelphia Police Department and the Community Policing Neighborhood Associa-tion are asking for your assistance in donations for school supplies for the children of Philadelphia Elementary School. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.

Intro to Microsoft Computer Class and Sewing Design Class
An eight-week class in Sewing Design will be offered through Dec. 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday nights. The 2.5 CEU class fee is $75. You may register Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. or Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. until class begins or fills.

Carthage Christmas Celebration
Christmas Hits Carthage in a Big Way: the festivities kick-off on Friday, Nov. 30 at 5:30 with the annual Christmas Tree Lighting.
This will feature a children's choir made up of children from area churches. After the Tree lighting the annual Carthage/Leake County Christmas Parade will take place.
On Wednesday, Dec. 5, the Leake County Ministerial Alliance will host "The Christmas Story in Scripture" at 6 p.m. in Sasser Park.
On Thursday, Dec. 6, Carthage Main Street will host their annual Sippin Cider with more than 20 businesses participating in the annual event to see whose Christmas Cider is the Best.
Friday, Dec. 7, brings "Christmas with Disney" sponsored by the Leake County Health Network. It will begin at 6 p.m. at the Carthage National Guard Armory.
All proceeds raised at this event will go to the MS Diabetes Foundation. Tickets will be available in advance and at the door for $10 a child with no charge for adults accompanying children.
To cap off the week's activities the Combined Church Choirs from First Baptist Church, Carthage United Methodist Church, and Trinity Baptist Church will present "Carols of Christmas" in the First Baptist Church sanctuary at 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 8 and 9. A ServSafe food safety certification class will be held in Philadelphia in the Neshoba County Coliseum multi-purpose room on Jan 28 and 29. The deadline to register is Dec. 21. For more information and to obtain a registration form and the 6th Edition ServSafe Book, contact the Neshoba County Extension Service office at 601-656-4011. Individuals who require special accommodations to participate should contact the Extension Office to make their request known prior to the program. Northbend Fire Protection District will hold its annual meeting Dec. 8 at Fire Station #1 on Highway 21 at 2 p.m. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.

Drive-Through Live Nativity
Sandtown United Methodist Church will be having a seven-scene, drive-through live nativity on Friday night, Dec. 14 and Saturday, Dec. 15 from 6-9 p.m. each night with live animals and two casts of 40 participants per cast.

Neshoba Senior Citizens Dinner
The Neshoba Senior Citizens (formally AARP) will hold its' Annual Christmas Dinner and Dance on Dec. 10 at Northside Park in the Senior Citizens Center beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Bring your favorite potluck dish and join us for dinner followed by a dance with the band "Night Shift" (Darrell Fulton's Band).
Admission is free for the meal, but anyone who wishes to stay for the dance there will be a $5 charge.
