Calling all senior citizens ages 60 and up. Come join us every Thursday at 6 p.m. for a fun night of Bingo and a chance to win great prizes. This event will be held at the Senior Citizens Building located at Northside Park. There will be a $2 entry fee and refreshments will be served. So come out and have some bingo fun.
Center Hill Cemetery
Funds are needed for grass cutting at Center Hill Baptist Cemetery. If you have family laid to rest here, please consider donations to support the grass cutting.
The Philadelphia Police Department and the Community Policing Neighborhood Associa-tion are asking for your assistance in donations for school supplies for the children of Philadelphia Elementary School. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.

Intro to Microsoft Computer Class and Sewing Design Class
An eight-week class in Sewing Design will be offered beginning Oct. 22 through Dec. 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday nights.
The 2.5 CEU class fee is $75.
You may register Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. or Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. until class begins or fills.
Friday Night Entertainment

New County Lane Baptist Church
New County Lane Baptist Church will have revival services on Sunday, Nov. 4 through Wednesday, Nov. 7.
The Rev. John Sharp will be the visiting evangelist. Sunday night it will begin at 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday it will begin at 7 p.m.
Church is located on Highway 427 near Edinburg.
The annual Neshoba County Wildlife Jamboree will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at the Neshoba County Coliseum. Exhibitor booths will open at 4 p.m., stew and chili will be served beginning at 5:30 p.m.
This year's program will be on Wild Turkey Management.
There will be activities for the entire family, starting with the youth archery and pellet gun shoot at 3:30 p.m., laser tag for the kids, exhibits, gun raffles, and the wildlife tasting buffet. Bring a wildlife dish (large family size) for the tasting buffet and receive five free tickets for the gun raffle.

Hudson Chapel Church Of God
Pastor Bret Cooper will be hosting revival with Bro. Brian McDonald from Texarkana Arkansas. Services will be held at Hudson Chapel Monday through Wednesday Nov. 12-14 at 7 p.m. nightly.
Thursday and Friday, Nov. 15 and 16, services will be held at Rocky Hill Church Of God 7 p.m. nightly.

Thanksgiving Potluck Luncheon
Thomas Hamill of Macon, civilian truck driver signed up to go to Iraq during the Gulf War for a little excitement in his life and to make lots of money. While in Iraq he was captured, but by the love and grace of God, he was able to escape. Mr. Hamill will be the guest speaker for our annual Thanksgiving Potluck Luncheon at East Philadelphia Baptist Church on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 11:30 a.m. You are invited to attend and bring your favorite side order or desert and a friend. Meat, tea and coffee will be provided. Come early and meet Mr. Hamill and enjoy fellowship with others.
American Legion Post 138
The American Legion Post 138 and Ladies Auxillary will meet Tuesday, Nov. 13 for our regular monthly meeting. We will be having our Thanksgiving supper. The dressing and gravy will be furnished. Members are to bring other dishes and deserts. We will have the drawing for the Rifle that is being rafted out. There will be new members joining at this meeting.

Shield of Faith Ministries will be having a pre-anniversary celebration for Pastor Geneva Stribling Blunt on Nov. 11 at 3 p.m. Bishop Chris Chamberlin of Greater Love Ministries will be the guest speaker.
Minister Larry Stribling will be preaching at 11 a.m. morning worship service on Nov. 18 at Shield of Faith Ministries. The pastor is Geneva Blunt.
Pastor's 4th Year AnniversaRY
Pastor Geneva Blunt and Shield of Fourth Ministries will celebrate the Pastor's 4th year Anniversary on Nov. 18 at 3 p.m. Co-pastor Judy Howard of A Higher Dimension of Mt. Olive will be the guest speaker.
Remus Baptist Church will have a revival Nov. 9-Nov. 11. The church is near Edinburg. Friday, Nov. 9th service begins at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10th services begin at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11th service begins at 10:30 a.m. After the Sunday Service there will be a covered dish meal. Neshoba County/ Philadelphia Youth Basketball Organization is now taking registration applications for children ages 6-17 for the 2012-2013 season Nov. 7 until Nov. 28
You can register at City Hall Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or at the Senior Citizens building located at Northside Park from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. Registration fee is $25.
On Nov. 17 and 24 from 9 a.m. until 12 noon you can register at the Booker T. Washington Gym, also we will conduct a meeting for all persons interested in volunteering or coaching the 2012-13 Basketball League. Youth Fire Awareness
Everyone is invited to the East Neshoba Volunteer Fire Department's Annual "Youth Fire Awareness" program on Nov. 17 from 12 noon to 3 p.m. We will be located at our Station #1 on the right side of Mississippi 16 East about 10 miles from Philadelphia.
We will provide fire awareness information and will have Fire Trucks, Tankers and Fire Personnel available for the youth look at and talk with. Additionally, the Philadelphia Fire Department's Rescue Truck and a Neshoba County Sheriff's Department patrol car will be available so attendees can see other support available in Neshoba County.

Bethsaida Baptist Bake Sale
Bethsaida Baptist Church Children and Youth Ministries will be having a bake sale on Saturday, Nov. 10 at Vowell's Market Place on East Main Street. The bake sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. All proceeds will be used to support these two ministries. Thanks in advance for your support.
