Two auto burglaries in Woodland Hills were perpetrated by the same individual or individuals, the authorities said they believe.

“The burglaries do appear to be connected,” Philadelphia Police Investigator Bobby Pattillo said Monday.

The burglaries occurred on Wednesday, May 13 in the late evening. Handguns were taken in both instances. The first reported burglary came from a dwelling on Maple Street. The second was on nearby Azalea Street.

Both vehicles were locked and had windows smashed.

Patillo said he had no further update on the cases Monday, but added the burglaries remain under investigation.
