McKee among state’s top CEOs

Greg McKee, President and Chief Executive Officer at The Citizens Bank, has been named one of Mississippi’s Top CEOs by the Mississippi Business Journal.

McKee joined his fellow honorees at a dinner and awards ceremony at the Old Capital Inn in Jackson on Thursday, Jan. 26.
McKee, who joined The Citizens Bank in 1983, has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Philadelphia-based bank since 2003.
He also leads Citizens Holding Company, a one-bank holding company and parent of The Citizens Bank, also headquartered in Philadelphia.
A native of Philadelphia, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Banking from Mississippi State University and has completed studies at the Graduate School of Banking, conducted at Louisiana State University. He is active in a host of civic and economic development organizations including service on the Advisory Board of Mississippi State University’s Department of Finance and Economics.
He also serves on the Board of the First National Bankers Bank, Title Services Board and serves as a Mississippi Bankers Association VEBA Trust Trustee. Additionally, McKee was a Paul Harris Fellow for 2015-2016.
McKee and his wife, the former Linda Luke, have two daughters, Lauren McKee and Meredith Humphries.
