The owner of four chicken house in the Spring Creek community has admitted to setting them on fire in February.

Sand Doan, 42, of 120 Road 569, has been arrested and charged with arson, Neshoba County Sheriff Tommy Waddell announced this week.

Deputy Josh Burt said that it was reported that four chicken houses had caught fire in the Spring Creek Community on the evening of Feb. 28.

Burt said they brought in Doan from his residence where he lives with his wife. Burt investigators questioned Doan and he later admitted to setting the fire.

Doan has since bonded out of the Neshoba County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
