A Neshoba County man was sentenced to 10 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to three business burglaries, which occurred in 2012.

Johnny Roy Harrison, 53, of Road 832 Stallo Woodyard Road, pleaded guilty in Neshoba County Circuit Court to three counts of burglary at the Stallo store in June and July of 2012.

On Count I, he received a six-year sentence. On Count II, he received a two-year sentence to run consecutively to the first sentence. On Count III, he received a two-year sentence to run consecutively to the first two sentences.

Harrison was given credit for 241 days of jail time served.

The burglaries occurred over the course of a week, where entry was made through a store window each time.

Only small items were taken during the burglaries including change, soft drinks, snacks and cigarettes, the authorities said.

In other action during the March term of Circuit Court:

• Joseph Leon Holley, 29 of 726 Columbus Ave., pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. He received a three-year sentence and $1,500 fine. He was ordered to make $3,000 in restitution to the victim.

• Christopher Lee Dean, 25, of 497 Luke Road, Preston, pleaded guilty to escape and felony fleeing law enforcement. Circuit Court Judge Vernon Cotten withheld sentencing and ordered Dean to enroll in the Drug Court program. He was also fined $1,500.

• Christopher B. Benamon, 37, of 6565 Highway 21 north, Preston, had his probation revoked after the judge was advised that he had violated the terms and conditions of his sentencing order. Benamon was ordered returned to custody to serve the remainder of his sentence for felony operations of a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor.

• Dawlton W. Key, 21, of 898 Yarbrough Road, Louisville, pleaded guilty to burglary of a motor vehicle. He received a three-year sentence and $1,500 fine. He was ordered to make $100 in restitution the victim.

• Nigell Quotez Lewis, 25, of 10341 Road 1361, pleaded guilty to sale of less than 30 grams of marijuana as a second drug offender. He received a two-year sentence and $1,500 fine.

• Joey Defay Morgan, 27, of 10860 Road 838, pleaded guilty to burglary of a motor vehicle. He received an eight-year sentence and $1,500 fine. He was ordered to make $500 in restitution to the victim.

• Sera E. Johnson, 30, of 12220 Road 610, pleaded guilty to food stamp fraud and received a three-year sentence and $1,500 fine. She was ordered to make $6,546 in restitution to the Department of Human Services. Upon payment of the fine and $3,500 in restitution, Johnson will be placed on probation for three years. The remainder of the restitution is to be paid through the clerk's office in monthly installments.

• Jaron Matthew Branning, 25, of 1066 Front Level Lane, Apt. B20, pleaded guilty to grand larceny. He received a five-year sentence and $1,500 fine.

• Joseph Odell Rowell, 36, of 10370 Road 294, Union, pleaded guilty to grand larceny. He received a four-year sentence and $1,500 fine. The court retained jurisdiction on the case for one year, reserving the right to vacant the sentence if the defendant fails to give truthful testimony against his co-indictee.

• Dustin Trent Malone, 28, of 10401 Road 1339, pleaded guilty to burglary of a dwelling house [two separate indictments], grand larceny and taking away a motor vehicle.

On the first burglary, Malone received an eight-year sentence.

On the grand larceny, he received a four-year sentence to run consecutively with the first sentence. He was ordered to make $10,000 in restitution to the victim. In the second burglary, he received a three-year sentence to run consecutively to the first sentences. In the taking away motor vehicle case, he received a two-year sentence to run consecutively to the others.

• Terry Harrington, 23, of 393 Loper St., pleaded guilty to fleeing a law officer in a motor vehicle. He received a five-year sentence.

• Nicholas L. Catchings, 27, of 303 East Pizzia St., Crystal Springs, pleaded guilty to strong-armed robbery and received an eight-year sentence and $1,500 fine. He pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary of motor vehicle and received two three-year sentences to run consecutively. He was ordered to make $300 in restitution to the victim.

• Troy James Eunice, 40, of 106 M. R. Mac's Court, Houma, La., pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine. He received a three-year sentence and $1,500 fine.

• Jason Daniel Stevens, 30, of 10111 Road 1315, Union, pleaded guilty to attempted grand larceny. He was sentenced to five years and fined $1,500. He was ordered to make $2,000 in restitution to the victim.

• William Ray Jones, 46, of 10101 Road 517, Union, pleaded guilty to attempted grand larceny. He received a five-year sentence and $1,500 fine. He was ordered to make $2,000 in restitution to the victim.

• Douglas Brad Edwards, 33, of 10230 Road 428, Union, pleaded guilty to attempted grand larceny. He received a three-year sentence and $1,500 fine. He was ordered to make $2,000 in restitution to the victim.
