About 40 entries, including four high school bands, are expected in Monday's parade as part of the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Celebration.
The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at the intersection of Poplar Avenue and Main Street.
Bands from Philadelphia, Canton, Velma Jackson and Holmes County high schools will participate in the parade.
A program will begin shortly afterwards in Westside Community Center.
The Rev. Harold Colburn, pastor of Morning Star Baptist Church and a city school board member, will be the guest speaker.
Sister Peggy Gipson, pastor of the Philadelphia UMC Parish, will give words of encouragement and inspiration during the program.
The parade will follow the same route as in past years: starting on Poplar Avenue; turning west on Main Street; north on Byrd Avenue; east onto Beacon Street; north on Church Avenue; west on Myrtle Street; and north on Byrd, disbanding at Philadelphia High School.
